God knows how we slept on George Maple, we've been pretty dormant the past year in fairness so we'll just put it down to that. Seriously though, in a similar vein to Jessie Ware, George Maple has rose to fame via featuring slots on a variety of acts' tracks including Kwes, Snakehips and Flume. Now she's striking the solo trail while the iron is hot.

Ascot trio Febueder are on course for big things...

We were really excited by Febueder around the turn of the year. After seeing them numerous times live, it's safe to say that they are the real deal indeed, which new track "Owing" firmly backs up.

There's little known about Black Honey. The band have no bio, no photo and no press release, so we quite literally can't give you any background information other than they're from Brighton - thanks Royal Blood. Never the less, it's the track in question that we're usually more interested in.

Not at all like their Gothenburg brothers and sisters, School - Movienite prove that the very best of grungy shoegaze wasn't lost on the departure of Daniel Blumberg from Yuck.

Manchester-based producer, Loftt releases stunningly composed electronic track, "Pieces".

From what we can gather, Jake Barrow, otherwise known as Loftt is a bedroom producer from the North West who's recently started making waves across the internet after dropping a few exquisite electronic instrumentals.

Swedish outfit YOUTHCULT premiere new video for "Bored".

Emerging in October last year, YOUTHCULT have kept their identities completely undisclosed. That being, we virtually know nothing about them other than the wonderfully eclectic sound they appear to have tapped into.

London's Slows Down aka Alexander Hawthorne makes cathartic, melancholy drenched chamber pop - sound good?

I'd like to say bursting onto the scene, but I think seeping onto the scene befits Slows Down and his first two tracks far better - my lord, he's squeezed a lot of styles into that one basket.
