April has probably been the patchiest month of the year so far. We've had strong contenders for single of the month and all from relative newcomers, not so much competition for album of the month and newcomers were fairly thin on the ground too. A little while ago we met up with Southampton trio Wild Smiles amidst their first UK tour. Clearly buoyed by the prospect of a forthcoming release and a lengthy tour (supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park no less) we found them in fine form, performing new tack "Pulling Teeth" - which is not on the upcoming EP but will feature on the bands debut album later this year - as well as giving us a few words about how the band came to be.
