The Winchester trio have stepped things up a notch or two since the turn of the year and offer up a slightly more polished and more Nirvana sounding track, "Never Wanted This".

Wild Smiles have unveiled their new video for April's Single of the Month "Fool For You.

Here's what we had to say about Wild Smiles "Fool For You" when it hit the web:

We're now one third of the way into 2014 and its new music is proving to be head and shoulders stronger than 2013.

April has probably been the patchiest month of the year so far. We've had strong contenders for single of the month and all from relative newcomers, not so much competition for album of the month and newcomers were fairly thin on the ground too. That aside, we've developed a renewed vigour for the site and found time for some interviews and features. But enough of that, let's get to it..

Wild Smiles return with "Fool For You", a newly invigorated take on their Beach Boys meet Nirvana surf rock.

Having signed to Sunday Best and Domino Publishing, the band look set to take things up a couple of notches and new track "Fool For You" does exactly that.

Southampton trio Wild Smiles - who've now featured as out first live session video and taken part in our 3rd birthday compilation (soon to be 4th) - have unveiled the first preview of their debut album; tracks "The Hill & The Sea" and "When Your Down".

A little while ago we met up with Southampton trio Wild Smiles amidst their first UK tour. Clearly buoyed by the prospect of a forthcoming release and a lengthy tour (supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park no less) we found them in fine form, performing new tack "Pulling Teeth" - which is not on the upcoming EP but will feature on the bands debut album later this year - as well as giving us a few words about how the band came to be.

Following on from their recent debut single, Hampshire's Wild Smiles are back with new track "Take Me Away", which is taken from their upcoming EP.
