future islands

Best news of the week so far without a shadow of a doubt is the fact that Baltimore's Future Islands are putting out a new single on 4AD and you can listen to "Haunted By You", right now.

If we're judging 2014 in peaks and troughs, March falls under neither.

It's been a good solid month for new arrivals, album releases, killer tracks and we even heard a decent cover version, thanks to Tame Impala. Most notably though, we've had some of our most anticipated returns come true this month, so let's not waste any further time and get down to the nitty gritty...

Following a pretty epic promo campaign, Baltimore's Future Islands have made their latest LP Singles available to stream.

Off the back of previous track releases; "Seasons (Waiting On You)" and "A Dream Of You And Me", the band have now made their 4AD debut LP, Singles, available for online streaming.

If those two tracks are anything to go by were in for an absolute treat - who knows, maybe even one of our albums of the year?

Singles is released through 4AD on March 24th, to grab a pre-order head here - but until then you can stream the full thing for now, below. Keep on dancing!

Baltimore post-waver's Future Islands unveil "A Dream Of You And Me" ahead of their upcoming Singles release on 4AD.

Off the back of the brilliant "Seasons (Waiting On Me)"comes Future Islands' equally brilliant, "A Dream Of You And Me".

Future Islands return with "Seasons (Waiting On You)" fresh from signing to 4AD for fourth LP, Singles.

Considering Baltimore's Future Islands have switched labels, one thing's for sure; there's no chance of a change in those anthemic indie/electro/synth pop anthems we're so used to hearing from the group and "Seasons (Waiting For You)" will back it up.

Baltimore's Future Islands are momentarily back with the 7" release of "Cotton Flower" due out on Brooklyn's Famous Class with proceeds going to the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund at VH1 Save the Music.

Baltimore's Future Islands look set to release album three, On The Water, a week today (via Thrill Jockey). But if you cant wait that long then feat not, we've got your back.

Summer may well be coming toward its unwelcome end but that doesn't stop the tracks from flowing. A perfect example of that is the new Future Islands track "Balance".
