New Music: Future Islands - Balance

Summer may well be coming toward its unwelcome end but that doesn't stop the tracks from flowing. A perfect example of that is the new Future Islands track "Balance".

"Balance" is truly sun kissed, and in the same vein as a number of tracks we've posted recently, its indebted to its seductive bass line. But its not just that factor, though. The synths are magical too, and the almost spoken word vocals are as equally infectious.

The Baltimore bands third album, On The Water, is available October 11^th via Thrill Jockey (Wooden Shjips). Listen / download the track below.
