Tracks: Gardens & Villa - Fixations
Not heard from Santa Barbara's Gardens & Villa since Dunes was out last year but it's good to hear them back with "Fixations", taking a slightly different path but a good one none-the-less. New LP Music For Dogs has been slated for release on August 21st via Secretly Canadian - add it to your diary.
"Fixations", while we've just said it is a bit of a step down a different path, still manages to maintain Gardens & Villa's affinity for glittery synth-pop melodies only with a bit of added guitar fuzz and feint Arcade Fire resemblance's.
