There is obviously a new generation of artists coming through this year, you know, ones that take influence from the likes of Toro Y Moi, Neon Indian and the rest of the chillwave fam.

Echo Shade is the project of 20 year old (they just keep getting younger) Lewis Woods, who has six more tracks that you can listen to over at the Bandcamp page. Yet, you get the sense that Echo Shade has found its rightful place with "Fluorescent Nights" (which borrows vocals from Italian disco diva Valerie Dore). Electronic beauty, simplicity and the ability to transcend you to some place else. Bravo.

Regardless whether or not your sick of the 'C' word yet, good music is good music, and you cant deny that.
