Tracks: Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Can't Keep Checking My Phone
You name it, it's being used in "Can't Keep Checking My Phone", Unknown Mortal Orchestra's third cut from upcoming LP Multi-Love.
Things just keep progressing for the band and on this latest effort, we find them at their most experimental, upbeat and sporadic best. "Can't Keep Checking My Phone" utilises horns, wooden instruments, clapping, guitar and many more instruments laden with a variety of effects. It all comes together to form one of the best upbeat tracks we've heard all year and once again separates Unknown Mortal Orchestra, much like Future Islands, from the rest - in terms of individual/originality.
Multi-Love, the bands upcoming LP is set for release on May 26th through stalwart Jagjaguwar. Grab a pre-order.
