The band take a step in a slightly more mature direction on new track "Falls Away", which may or may not be down to the acquisition of producer Dan Carey - but either way it's nice to see the band progressing their sound.

"Falls Away" is a restrained but rich sounding number, capturing the essence of the elements, the track comes and goes like the weather. From the softly sung lyrics to the torment of the guitar riffs hidden beneath a shroud of thick haze. Childhood have taken it to another level on "Falls Away" lets hope the album continues in the same form.

Childhood's debut LP is set for release this summer.
