New Music: Blouse - No Shelter

Wow, doesn't seem like Blouse's debut LP was released over 18 months ago. But time flies though, doesn't it, and it's great news that the Portland trio are back with new track "No Shelter", the first from their upcoming record Imperium. 

On first impressions, one could say that "No Shelter" isn't nearly as 'gothic' and 'dark' as their previous efforts. Not that it suffers from lack of character though, far from it in fact. While it may be a turn in the road, Blouse pull it off with equanimity; remaining as ethereal and romantically inclined as ever, and, of course, Charlie Hilton's angelic voice is still to die for, plain and simple.
