2012: A Year In Review

We understand, you're sick to death of end of year lists by now. Yeah, we absolutely get it. But, if you think about it, an awful lot happened over the past 12 months that you may - or may not - have missed. Here are a few things of note....

• In February, we took part in the very first BBC 6 Music Blog Awards, as hosted by Tom Robinson.

• In case you're in desperate need of some summer vibes then fear not, we put together a summer mixtape entitled 'Two Week Sunshine' - which you can download here.

• Our  '10 Tracks You May Have Missed' feature includes some of the best unearthed gems that you probably hadn't didn't noticed.

• In October, we compiled a 17 track album for our third birthday featuring some really, really great acts. It's totally free to download, and it's mightily impressive, even if we do say so ourselves.

• If you've not heard one before, we also make a free mixtape each month. Find all the highlights from 2012 here.

Top five posts of the year (statistically speaking, anyway):

Foals - Inhaler
DIIV - Doused
Night Works - I Tried So Hard
Savages - Husbands
MS MR - Bones

And there's more, like our 'Best Tracks of 2012' list as well as some interviews that you may find insightful too.

THANKS, AND SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.
x o
