New Artist: Blue Boats - Sun Burns / Summers Down

Snow, sun, rain, wind, sun then snow again, British weather is crazy, isn't it? But when the seasons finally decide to change, at least we've got some new music from Bournemouth's Blue Boats to aid the summer soundtrack.

Firstly, as introductions go, Blue Boats is Olly Gale, a 21-year-old film student from the south coast, whose music, as it seems, is progressing at a rather impressive rate.

His latest tracks "Sun Burns" & "Summers Down" are a testament to that ever improving sound. Both glittering bedroom-pop gems that manage to intertwine gorgeous synth lines and heavily addictive guitars. And that's not an easy feat to pull off.
