New Music: Beach Fossils - Shallow

While still on a high from Cole Smith's spin off band Dive, Beach Fossils themselves make a welcome return today with a new mp3 entitled "Shallow".

Released on 7" vinyl on February 21st (via Captued Tracks), "Shallow" is everything that you could want to follow up last years 'What A Pleasure' EP. The typically layered, high plucking guitars sit finely on top of a more rampant, no nonsense drum pattern. One might even suggest that there are definite elements of Cole Smith's own work incorporated in there.

"Shallow" is backed up by b-side "Lessons", which will no doubt be online within a matter of days. Listen and download below.
