New Music: Superhumanoids - Geri (Free Download)

Superhumanoids have made "Geri" - their first track to come from new LP Exhibitionists - available for free download.

I've been aware of Superhumanoids' promise ever since they supported Local Natives on their previous UK tour. They're an extremely under-rated band and all previous work was deserving of better exposure.

However, "Geri" could be a significant track in spearheading what's looking like a large transitional period for the band.

Previous track, "Mikelah" set the ball rolling, a thumping piece of atmospheric haze that in spits and spats bordered on anthemic.

This new single takes it to another level and bearing any kind of resemblance to Keep Shelly In Athens is not a bad way to go. Take one atmospheric and hazy template, add lashings of slick grooves and the end product is "Geri".
