My ears always prick at the sight of a Kindness remix and when it's a remix of Blood Orange - regular collaborators - with legendary Fingers Inc. vocalist Robert Owens thrown in the mix, you just know it's going to be a peach.

Blood Orange aka Devonté Hynes has dropped his new album Cupid Deluxe for streaming via YouTube.

Our fears of a fairly soppy, slow burner of a Blood Orange album without the funk heard on previous tracks like "Sutphin Boulevard" have been laid to rest. Listen to Cupid Deluxe via YouTube stream below; fans of the man won't be disappointed.

It seems the production work that Dev Hynes has worked on for the likes of Sky Ferreira, Solange and others, has transcended into his Blood Orange material; some would say for the good and others would disagree. We're still very on the fence at the minute, especially when the high-energy funk seen on tracks like "Sutphin Boulevard" seem to be all but gone now.

One Instagram's busiest musicians, Blood Orange, eases us into the morning with "Chamakay", his much awaited return and first track to be taken from upcoming Coastal Grooves follow up Cupid Deluxe.

After the success of toward the back end of last year, the Blood Orange project has been a little quiet of late. But Dev Hynes has a new video today for one of his album highlights, "Champagne Coast".

This year we've cut down our "best of" lists and got straight to the point, we'll have two lists and an extra something(s) special up our sleeve.

Lists can get increasingly tedious this time of the year and every Tom, Dick and Harry are compiling their best albums, videos, tracks, artists, newcomers, the holy "Ones To Watch", what are we watching for exactly?
