Tracks: Wampire - Wizard Staff

Portland duo Wampire return with new track "Wizard Staff" and promise of new album, Bazaar.

We've not heard from Wampire since February last year when they were prepping the release of their Curiosity LP, but in typical fashion the duo unveil "Wizard Staff" with their meld of other-worldly synth and sax drenched, electro-pop.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Jacob Portrait is on recording duties again and the new music is surely all the better for it. What is different to what we've become accustomed to with Wampire, is that their typical energies come across more sapped and tired than on past work - in a good way, of course.

Bazaar is set for release on October 7th through the ever present Polyvinyl but you can grab yourself a pre-order as of now.
