Tracks: MOTHER - Centrefold

Brooklyn's MOTHER unveil third track, "Centrefold", today with a slightly different feel in comparison to previous tracks.

"Centrefold" may or may not be better than the absolute monster track "Easy", but it's pretty damn good never-the-less. Where "Easy" tapped into a raw and pretty damn cool edge that we've previously heard from the likes of Twin Shadow and Blood Orange, "Centrefold" takes more of a dark-wave side-step.

As we said on "Easy" though, we're very very suspicious of whoever may or may not be on production and recording duties for the band as the sounds almost too crisp for a band with, as far as we know, three songs to their name. It's good to hear diversity though isn't it?
