Amongst other things, the band had been experimenting with synths for the release of their new album and "Wanderlust" is an example of how these new elements have been incorporated into their sound.

"Wanderlust" will come as a shock to the system for a lot of Wild Beasts purists, but after questions arose about their versatility on previous LP Smother, the band have obviously gone about putting the doubters in their place. It's probably a massive grower, much like first track to be taken from Smother, "Albatross". Listen below.
