We're still taken with Sam Flax's mammoth "Fire Doesn't Burn Itself", if we're truly honest. But here's the second cut from the LA newcomer, showing a more restrained (albeit only slightly) aesthetic in new track "Child Of Glass".
His key ingredients remain prevalent, however, like those shuddering, warped guitar thrashes that are wrapped around a rainbow dipped 'psychtronica' base. There is more of an Ariel Pink vibe here, but that's never a negative, let's be frank.
