Introducing: Canute - Ephemeral

Not a lot is known about emerging London three piece Canute, although they do call the 'Thames wasteland' (as they put it) home. But with the two tracks we bring you today - "Ephemeral" & "Nausicaa" - the music should do all the talking for them.

With a hat tip to LDN neighbours Torches, we first heard of "Ephemeral" last month, and it's been growing on us ever since. With a plethora of high waved, cinematic guitars, bouncing percussion and a dark edged brood, Canute no doubt possess a gritty yet admirable quality. And that's not easily done, believe us. There is a danger that all this noise can hinder an already exciting sound, yet Canute find themselves firmly on the right side of the tracks. With their willingness to push the norm and extend their horizons, one can only hope that future material is this good.

Stream and download their two prime cuts below, 'like' them on Facebook this way.
