MP3 Premiere: IO - Bigfoot

A couple of months back we brought you the debut track from York newcomers IO. It was good, so good in fact it deservedly landed a spot in our CN mixtape for June.

Now, the four piece are back with two new tracks. First up is "Bigfoot", a steady, brooding number that culminates in a defiant, sprightly fashion. Second track "Crimson Calypso" may conjure up thoughts of sunshine from its initial guitar strings, yet the lyrics are far more sinister, bringing a diverse, bittersweet element to those ear pleasing melodies.

Hear both tracks below, along with a promo video the band have put together ahead of a supporting slot for London's Is Tropical at Stereo, York, on September 27th (more details here).
