Introducing: Slow Magic - Sorry Safari

Just came across Slow Magic and there isn't much to go by in terms of information on the band but the video for "Sorry Safari" grabbed me and made me take notice.

Information on Slow Magic is very scarce, their Bandcamp simply states,"Slow Magic is the sound made by an unknown imaginary friend." That is the end of everything we presently know about them, but by the sounds of this track, there will be much more to come. "Sorry Safari" is also available for free download from their Bandcamp.

The video is an absolutely belter, with your usual chillwave flowing shapes but also a hilarious intro which is the basis for the full video.The intro features a retro film clip of a guy showcasing his machine which can record performances and make drum beats, when he hits record the beautiful sounds of "Sorry Safari" come in.

"Sorry Safari" has an excellent electronic pop sound alongside the obvious chillwave vibe. It comes in slowly with a dream like haze, progressing into the synth goodness which stays with the track till the end. It makes a change to hear something that adds something to the same generic dream-pop that's becoming so common.
