We've already brought you a host of tracks from The Joy Formidable, but to recap, The Joy Formidable are Ritzy Bryan (Lead vocals and Guitar), Rhydian Daffyd (Bass and Backing vocals) and Matt Thomas (Drums and Percussion).

Their debut single 'Austere', which we chose as a Weekend Anthem last week, featured in a 'skins' ad and also was subject to a fan-made video, which featured some interesting off-camera "masturbation", it was later banned by YouTube. Since then they have released, "My Beerdrunk Soul is Sadder Than a Hundred Dead Christmas Trees", "Cradle", "Whirring", "Greyhounds in The Slips" and "Popinjay".

The bands LP 'A Balloon Called Moaning' was released in February 2009 and featured, Austere, Cradle and Whirring. On a touring note, they have most notably supported Editors and Passion Pit...... Oh and Paul McCartney at his Millennium Stadium gig on the 26th of June this year. The next day they opened 'the Other Stage' at Glastonbury. We saw them play the opening set on the Saturday in the Radio1/NME Tent at Leeds Festival and were blown away. Here is a bit of hype for their latest track and video, followed by the track itself...
