LISS - ALWAYS | CT15 #13
Denmark's LISS are now ready to unveil their debut double-a side single to feature first track "Try" and now this absolute scorching slice of individual creativity called "Always".
Sounding rather like a Ben Khan and HONNE mash-up with a bit of extra groove for good measure, LISS certainly get the blood boiling. "Always" doesn't actually sound like too much to start with but it slowly but surely turns into a simmering pot of smooth basslines and stunning vocals. Having the same producer as The xx and Sampha can't be bad thing either.
