Tracks: Surf Rock Is Dead - Zen A

Following on from debut 1FTP track, "Late Risers", New York's Surf Rock Is Dead unveil another gem in "Zen A".

"Zen A" has a kind of DIIV meets The Drums vibe. If that's not ringing any bells, broken down it means a dark and driving guitar jangle (e.g. DIIV's "Doused") paired with a deep and sprightly bass-line and a (The Drums) jazzed up vocal. The track stands on it's own though as a solid and relevant take on the shoegaze genre that just keeps on finding new legs.
