Tracks: Mark Ronson - Daffodils (Feat. Tame Impala's Kevin Parker)

Mark Ronson unveils new track, "Daffodils" featuring Kevin Parker of Tame Impala.

Well, didn't see this one coming. Knew Ronson was a big fan of Tame Impala and that he'd previously covered "Solitude of Bliss", but collaboration - hmm.

Anyway, with my face thoroughly screwed waiting to be disgusted at what I was about to hear - I'm hit with some space-age funk and to my surprise, big Kev's vocals hit and the head's immediately going. "Daffodils" isn't particularly psych at all, it's 100% disco funk and probably the closest Kevin Parker will get to mainstream radio play without teaming up with Calvin Harris or someone of the same ilk - oh yeah Mark Ronson...

The track is set to feature on Ronson's upcoming LP, Uptown Special out on January 27th through RCA.
