Tracks: Jamie xx - All Under One Roof Raving

Just in time for festival season, Jamie xx shares new single "All Under One Roof Raving".

As well as writing new xx material at the minute, Jamie is looking toward his own solo LP (soon?). Over the weekend, Annie Mac's Radio 1 show had the first play of his new single "All Under One Roof Raving".

While it's definitely not 'rave', instead the track is a mid-paced combination of slick breaks, old hardcore samples (have a scout around Youtube) and Jamie's trademark steel pan loops. It ducks and dives interestingly without ever in giving way to the tragically familiar 'drop'. Sorry about that Glastonbury.

The single is out now on iTunes with vinyl due in August. Listen below.
