Tracks: Honeyblood - Super Rat

Glasgow's Honeyblood unveil "Super Rat" from their upcoming self-titled debut on FatCat.

Taking a slightly less raucous stance on "Super Rat", than previous track "Killer Bangs", Honeyblood adopt a far more light-hearted approach, choosing to wax lyrical about a rat.

"Super Rat" is pushed along by the force created during the duo's powerful guitar-driven chorus, in which they sing, "I will hate you forever" with feverish intent. The track's then held together with some sporadic and solid slices of melancholy. It's a breath of fresh air.

Honeyblood's Anticipated self-titled debut is due out on FatCat July 14th and you can grab a pre-order of the record now.
