Video: Conceptus - Valerie

Californian three-piece Conceptus drop new video for their track "Valerie".

Hailing from San Diego, but residing in Hawaii; Conceptus' sound is self-described as 'sun-soaked jangly indie pop'. "Valerie" is taken from the band's soon to be released LP, Blue Blood. 

The track sounds just what you might expect a band from California living in Hawaii would produce. That being, an uber-laid back, melodic head-bobber with a mid-way sweet solo and nods towards Malkmus-inspired lyrics, like "and it's true I'd follow you into a garbage can."

Conceptus will release Blue Blood on August 1st and you can stream a handful of the tracks via the band's Bandcamp page.
