Video/Tracks: Sleepy Sun - Galaxy Punk
San Fran five-piece Sleepy Sun conjure up something strange with their new video for "Galaxy Punk".
This video from psych-rockers Sleepy Sun is something different. In the coolest way possible, it goes against the grain in the sense that it has pretty much no relation to the track itself, but it works perfectly. Not that having a trippy narrative is anything groundbreaking, but it's definitely weirdly transfixing.
We follow this young boy as he stumbles through some sort of straw-worshipping village and possesses the locals with his mystical powers. Obviously bizarre, but it's entertaining and that's all we care about. Apart from the fact that "Galaxy Punk" is also a great track, of course.
The band have a load of tour dates supporting Maui Tears coming up and they're listed below along with the video.
