Tracks: Tashaki Miyaki - I Came

LA trio Tashaki Miyaki unveil new track "I Came" for exclusive Record Store Day release.

In general this year, I think it's fair to say that Record Store Day has received some pretty mixed press. As much as it's a celebration of independent stores, it's also kind of hard to look past those One Direction 7"'s and numerous (and ultimately pointless) reissues. But, it's not all doom and gloom, far from it in fact. Take this new one from Tashaki Miyaki for example, which forms part of a new compilation from Brooklyn's Kanine Records.

As well as including tracks from Joanna Gruesome & Beverly, amongst others, "I Came" in particular oozes a timeless, classic alt-rock feel, which, of course, is exactly what we've become accustomed to from the ever dependable LA trio. They say more new music is on the way, too, so here's another one to get excited for in the coming summer months. Listen below.
