Tracks: Jack White - High Ball Stepper

Jack White has announced new album Lazaretto and unveiled first track, "High Ball Stepper".

To be totally frank, I wasn't expecting this at all - not new album Lazaretto but the standard and style of "High Ball Stepper".

Gone is the bullshit that was Jack White's previous album, Blunderbuss, and in comes an instrumental off the highest guitar riffin' order. Makes Black Keys' "Fever" sound like a limp soggy flannel, 1-0 to Jack White.

If the rest of Lazaretto goes in the same manner as this, plus a bit of vocals here and there, we'll be happy. Lazaretto comes out June 9, UK and 10, US on White's Third Man Records.
