Tracks: Trust Fund - No Surprise

Bristol's Ellis Jones returns with his latest Trust Fund track, "No Surprise", set to feature on Reeks of Effort's Sick of Hits Vol. 2.

Starting like a tranquil acoustic number, it takes "No Surprise" a little bit to progress into something bigger but knowing Trust Fund, it was always just around the corner.

"No Surprise" manages to blend two distinct stylings into one track, and they morph with little to no effort at all. Serene country rock flips into grungy post-punk before melding smoothly back into the previous acoustics, only to flip back again. Perfect for anyone growing tired of the same old shit.

"No Surprise" features on Reeks of Effort's second edition of their Sick of Hits, which will be released on cassette, April 28th.
