Merchandise sign to 4AD and unveil a re-working of "Begging For Your Life / In The City"

After dodging every single label under the sun for the past 18 months, 1FTP fav's Merchandise have finally penned a deal with one of the best labels out there right now, 4AD. And so, with a new album in the pipeline, they're releasing "Begging For Your Life / In The City Light" (it's full 14 minutes) as as single in the meantime.

The trumpet infused track (that'll be new band member Chris Horn) is taken from last year's USA tour with Chelsea Light Moving and follows a slick rhythm that offers the best of Merchandise's distant worlds, drifting from lustful indie to out right skewed audible paranoia (in the best way possible, naturally).
