New Music: Heavenly Beat - Honest

What an unbelievably good start to the day! First some Blood Orange, now Heavenly Beat unveil a sub-tropical beast in the form of "Honest".

Former Beach Fossils bassist John Peña has been on our radar since we heard "Faithless" in late 2011. Now with a further two years under his belt his feet are well and truly on the pedal and following the vibed-out "Complete", we're with hit with another feel-good gem in the form of "Honest". Steel drums come into play again, only in slightly more subtle form and Peña seems to have opted for a more chilled approach in general, as he tackles the ever present issue of infidelity; all very deep.

"Honest" is the second track to come from upcoming LP Prominence out through Captured Tracks on October 15. Listen Below.
