Hey look, a five-piece from Cambridge by the name of Forest, just dropped into the "blogosphere", seemingly out of nowhere and look, they've released their self recorded debut, Sweetcure EP. Pretty amazing stuff.

Forest make a brilliant blend of, now standardised, garage rock with a light and airy shoegaze veil. The band's artists we like section on Facebook reads: Splashh, Gross Magic, Mac Demarco, Metz, The Horrors, Cheatahs, Whirr and Beach Fossils.

Just going by that, they obviously know what they're looking to achieve and have a solid foundation of influences to build and sculpt their sound around. Listen to lead single, "John", below and check the rest of their EP out on bandcamp.
