New Music: Spectrals - Milky Way

Leeds' Spectrals, or Louis Jones, if you will, is back with his second LP (entitled Sob Story) this summer. Notably, he's working with former Girls bassist JR White, who helped produce the albums first single, "Milky Way".

From the outset, it's clear that there is a heavier, more twisted aesthetic at play. Dipping into slight psychedelic territory, it still maintains Jones' romantically flawed side (remember "Peppermint"?), producing lyrics like "she couldn't be you if she tried".

Sob Story is out on June 3 through Wichita. Hear "Milky Way" below.
