New Material: Smith Westerns - Varsity

Smith Westerns return with "Varsity", their first cut from the upcoming album Soft Will, set for release through Mom+Pop on June 11.

The band are at their nonchalant best on "Varsity", it's the perfect Sunday morning track, doused in hazy feel-good positivity leaving you without a care in the world. That doesn't mean to say the track is without edge though, the synths power through the lackadaisical energy and add the finishing touches to what is a top notch piece of nostalgic power-pop.
