New Music: Life Model - Glazed

Glasgow's Life Model are a band that stick in our minds for two reasons. Not only where they the first act we wrote about in 2013, but more importantly because their debut track - "Take It Slowly" - was so mightily impressive. Since then they've been penning some more new material, with "Glazed" being the latest offering they have for us.

Now, as a genre, shoegaze can often be a somewhat overpowering thing. Yet here, "Glazed" (which brings the effortlessly brilliant Slowdive to mind) manages to perfectly place itself in a territory that many aim for, yet only a few achieve, pouring out as a fully decorated and magnificently structured pop gem.
