Introducing: Hibou - Glow / Hollow

Press pictures aside, after listening to the sun drenched surf-pop of Hibou, it's no surprise that he's previously toured as a part of One For The People soft spots, Craft Spells.

Funnily enough, we seem to have gone from featuring one relative youngster's second album release, to featuring an even younger, well experienced 19 year-old, in Seattle based Peter Michel. Once again this whizz-kid is showing a musical maturity beyond his years and has just released the double a-side single of "Glow" and "Hollow" for free.

"Glow" immediate hits you as its typically progressive, driving kraut-rock edge is smothered with a seriously catchy surf-pop melody, and you will be able to hear some Diiv influences in there too. That's just one half of the story though, as "Hollow" follows in a softer, 80's electronic vibe and compliments "Glow" to near perfection.
