New Music: Night Works - The Eveningtime

Do you remember the subtly brilliant "I Tried So Hard" back in March, from former Metronomy man Gabriel Stebbing, aka Night Works? Well he has now unveiled his much anticipated follow up single, "The Eveningtime".

And this new track is a far cry from Stebbing's straggling debut track, as he puts it; "I Tried So Hard" was for the last ones standing, the stragglers, last night bus home long since departed. Now it's back to the middle of the floor ...' The track was also produced by old pal Joe Mount (of Metronomy), perhaps you can hear the slight musical similarities?

"The Eveningtime" is released on August 6th via Loose Lips records, watch the video below.
