New Artist: Tezeta - Pharcyde / A Night

As new projects go, Tezeta, aka Canadian Joe Roth, is proving to be somewhat of a firm favourite here at 1FTP towers. Wondrous, inventive & refreshing are just a few adjectives that have been thrown around.

First and foremost the inaugural impression of Tezeta's music is one that creates a beautiful chemistry of diverse sounds. The Hip-Hop styled loops and breaks (particularly within "Pharcyde") weave stupendously into compelling, reaching highs that crash & explode into some sort of sonic euphoria (particularly within "A Night"). There is a universal point in Roth's music at which all moving parts join forces to create something quite vast, something pretty phenomenal in fact.
