New Artist: Coasting - Portland

Brooklyn indie rock outfit, Coasting, somehow went a miss with me back in June last year. They're now readying the release of their debut album, You're Never Going Back.

"Portland" is the first track to come from Fiona Campbell, also drummer in Vivian Girls, and Madison Farmer's debut, which will be out November 15 on M'lady's Records.

It's a lot more polished than their aforementioned debut 7" which we seemed to miss last year. But with that said, how clear is it that the girls know what they're best at. You can include Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls and Frankie Rose & The Out's in that bracket too.
