New Artist: Hoop Dreams - XCPR

With so many sources available for you to acquire new music, it's quite satisfying when you come across something which you previously had no idea about, then come out smiling afterwards. Such is the case with this track by Virginia newcomers Hoop Dreams.

Hoop Dreams are: Max Brooks, Jeff Haley (both formerly of Wild Nothing, apparently) & Jordan Mrazik, Tommy Davidson and Marcus McDonald.

With the Wild Nothing connection you can take a well educated guess at how the guitars will sound. But, at just two minutes long "XCPR" leaves no time for fucking around. It's a 'get in, get out and dont look back' kind of jam, and it sounds fantastic.
