Introducing: Tamaryn - Dawning

After a spate of 7" and EP releases, Tamaryn have finally released an LP in the shape of The Waves.

Tamaryn are Rex John Shelverton of Portraits of Past & The Audience and the lady herself, Tamaryn Brown. Their take on shoegaze creates a suspenseful atmosphere that sucks you in, deeper and deeper.

Their new 9 track LP The Waves was recently released through Mexican Summer. Here's a nice quote from the bands Facebook page:

"But where Tamaryn’s earlier material was rooted in traditional goth-psych overtones, The Waves represents an incredible step forward in terms of her approach. These nine songs combine driving pop and lush balladry with layered, guitar-driven atmospheres, against which Tamaryn’s voice, languid and restrained, melts against its surface."
