New Video: Broken Social Scene

I'm going out on a limb here, Broken Social Scene are one of the bands of 2010 and now they finally have a video for their first rate track, 'Forced To Love', off their excellent LP 'Forgiveness Rock Record'.

Broken Social Scene's label, Arts and Crafts describe the video as:

“It’s an experimental 3D scanning technology that detects the displacement of a grid pattern of any object in front of it,”

Without being too cynical, they're sensationalising holograms with fancy wording. The videos director, Alan Poon then had this to say about the video

“The data is then used to rebuild the object in three dimensions. Each band member’s performance was scanned using this technique and manipulated in the computer to create the effect you see in the final video.”

Futuristic? Or Dull? decide for yourself, nevertheless its still a cracking song...
