VALLENS | DEVOUR
Vallens "Devour" offers up a sensual slice of Lynchian, Twin Peaks OST vibes and features on the band's current Hand Drawn Dracula album Consent.
Vallens are a Toronto 4-piece producing smokey shoegaze with feels of Portishead and other groups of that ilk. It's funny we mentioned David Lynch already because the band are named after Isabella Rossellini's character, Dorothy Vallens, in the David Lynch hit, Blue Velvet. "Devour" is a smokey saunter from start to finish, giving off a feel of addictive tension and unpredictability - it's stunning.
