Tracks: The Drums - I Can't Pretend

The Drums unveil latest track set to feature on Encyclopedia, "I Can't Pretend".

The Drums have had a strange however many years since the release of their debut album, but following "Magic Mountain" and now "I Can't Pretend" the band look to have found a bit of consistency.

"I Can't Pretend" is the exact opposite to the jittery and quite irregular "Magic Mountain". Yes, the track is fairly melancholic and yes, it does have a slight resemblance to Pixies classic, "Where Is My Mind", however it's only a slight one after the three minute mark. It floats along at a lackadaisical pace and has all the earmarks of a Drums classic.
