Tracks/Video: Flatbush Zombies - 97.92 (feat. Trash Talk)
Flatbush Zombies drop video for their team-up track, "97.92" with hardcore Californians Trash Talk.
The track was originally recorded back in February as part of the Converse-sponsored collaboration compilation CONS EP VOL.1 but it's only now that the video has been released.
Noisy bastards Trash Talk are no strangers to hip-hop given their affiliation with Odd Future under Trash Wang -- but the Flatbush Zombies collab wasn't one we would have predicted. The track is typical of Flatbush with a scratchy, messy overtone, and thankfully they've found a suitable medium in terms of Trash Talk's inclusion. The difference in styles aren't played off against each other so it's not ruined.
The video is apparently shot using a high-tech 360-degree camera on a remote-controlled drone. That's some serious tech, and the result is more than pleasing as we're sure you'll agree:
