Tracks: Grizzly Bear - Will Calls (Marfa Demo)

We're not usually fans of re-releases, no matter how much you jazz them up with remixes and bonus tracks, but this demo of "Will Calls" from Grizzly Bear's upcoming "re-issue" of 2012's excellent Shields is, to me, better than some of it's original tracks.

"Will Calls" is a rich and wonderfully tempestuous demo that showcases the band's brilliance on both sides of the coin; heads being mellow and earthy; tails being bolshy and charged. The stop/start nature of "Will Calls" might go a way to waking you up on this dour autumn day.
