Introducing: Twin Peaks - Stand In The Sand

It takes a brave fucker, or in this case four brave fuckers to name their band Twin Peaks, and I'm not going into details as to why.

There's not much out there on Twin Peaks and they've featured on both Stereogum and Pitchfork. Hmmm. One song on Soundcloud and an accompanying video. They played at SXSW though. Oh! and they're signed to Aquarium Drunkard's label, Autumn Tone. So with all the scepticism out the way we can discuss this solitary track.

"Stand In The Sand" is exactly what you expected, very fucking fuzzy garage rock, no inherent quality about it but all the more brilliant because of this. I can't be bothered going into massive detail on how the track is constructed, I just want to take it for what it is, and so should you.
